Uniform

Scouting is a uniformed organisation and we wear our full uniform for weekly meetings and all other activities unless members are instructed specifically not to do so. If your son or daughter goes on any Scouting activity, please ensure that they wear full uniform unless the section leader has specifically said otherwise.

Please ensure that your child’s name is clearly written in all items of uniform and other clothing.

On our uniforms, we all wear badges to show our membership of Scouts, the identity of our Group and our District and County. The most important badges are the purple World Scout Badge, worn on the left shirt front by all members of the Scout Association, a nametape and district and county emblems on the right shoulder. (The World Scout badge is worn by almost all Scouts throughout the World.)
